We are Ashed Winter

Ashed Winter New Line-Upartists with a passion for extreme sounds and haunting atmospheres, working to make these 2 facets of our art coexist.
Our music is a journey into the depths of the human soul, where Death Metal meets tribal elements and exotic melodies.
We draw inspiration from nature, ancient cultures and modern dystopias to create songs that question and shock.
What sets us apart is this unique fusion of brutality and introspection, a quest to tell powerful stories through ambitious compositions, sure to delight music lovers lulled to sleep by any kind of Metal.

Founded in 2018, Ashed Winter truly made their mark with the release of their debut EP, The Prophecy, in 2020.

Initially rooted in Thrash Death, the band gradually evolved, shaping a unique sound that draws as much from metal traditions as it does from tribal influences.

This evolution has allowed Ashed Winter to develop a strong musical identity both powerful and mystical.

Their current style, defined as Tribal Death Groove, merges heavy rhythms with elements of traditional music, creating a ritualistic and immersive atmosphere.

This pursuit of authenticity resonates in every track, giving their music a sacred and timeless quality.

Since their beginnings, Ashed Winter has established themselves on the local scene, performing extensively.

From small local venues to major stages, the band has shared the spotlight with French metal heavyweights, further cementing their presence in the underground scene.

Now, with the release of their new album Papa Legba, Ashed Winter is ready to take a bold step forward in their career, unveiling a mature and unique artistic vision to their audience.
